Common Sense Contract with New York

 
As a candidate and signatory to the Common Sense Contract with New York platform, I pledge to fulfill my commitment and address these seven specific issues, when I am sent to Albany, to the best of my ability.

#1. I pledge to sponsor or co-sponsor a bill to repeal the laws and executive orders that make New York a sanctuary state. Funding will be stopped for any city in the state that declares itself a sanctuary city and is using taxpayer funds to support the invasion of illegal immigrants taking jobs and resources from our citizens. $2.4 Billion in the budget for immigration is not acceptable when our citizens need help.

#2. I pledge to sponsor or co-sponsor legislation to restore law and order. Pro-criminal laws will be repealed and New York police departments will be adequately funded to protect the people of our State. District Attorneys in New York State, who do not protect New Yorkers from crime will be held accountable, regardless of party affiliation.

#3. I pledge to sponsor or co-sponsor legislation to protect parents’ rights over their children. Parents in New York State have the right to determine what their children are taught and how to regard their gender. No more government overreach and hidden agendas. New York State and the Department of Education need to keep their hands off our children.

#4. I pledge to support current legislation in Albany that will secure our elections. 88% of Americans want voter ID, and so do New Yorkers. I will also sponsor or co-sponsor a bill to clean our voter rolls. We must have accurate elections or our republic will die.

#5. I Pledge to support all efforts to stop all wasteful spending in every budget category: no more political payoffs and backdoor deals plaguing our state. The $237 Billion budget will negatively impact all of us.

#6. I pledge to support all efforts to restore responsible management in the Department of Health. Mask and medical mandates for adults and children can no longer be tolerated, now or in the future. No more destroying our jobs and economy based on now provable unsupported “science” with unauthorized government controls.

#7. I pledge to support the use of New York’s abundant resources. Using these resources will create thousands of high-paying jobs in our upstate region and billions of dollars in state revenue to fund legitimate services New Yorkers deserve. High energy costs are the leading cause of inflation. Transportation costs in the supply chain are the main reason for outrageous price increases.
